Order and Fulfillment Application
Overview
Our client, in the business of Digital and Offset Print and Integrated Communications Services, was looking to build an enterprise solution to better manage their processes. The project entailed building several applications to emulate the ordering/fulfillment process. Eight applications were developed to work in conjunction and carry out the process seamlessly.
Challenge & Solution
- To architect a solution which consisted of several apps talking to each other.
- To integrate the multiple types of packaging configurations for the variety of products.
Following an Agile methodology and having regular scrum calls helped the team to break down the scope and successfully deliver the solution.
Achievements
- Our team successfully developed all the applications and devised efficient ways to replicate the real-world scenarios of the fulfillment process in the logic.
- We delivered the project before the stipulated time. Extremely happy with the results, the client extended our engagement to support and maintain the application.
Current Status
The web-based application is being used by the client and has helped streamline their order and fulfillment process. Our team developed and maintained the application for 4 years.
