White House announces partnership for access to supercomputing resources to fight COVID-19

The White House has launched the COVID-19 High Performance Computing Consortium. The objective of this consortium is to provide the COVID-19 researchers worldwide the access to the world’s most powerful high performance by bringing together Federal government, industry and academic leaders.

The consortium partners include AWS, Google, IBM, Microsoft, MIT, University of California,NASA and more. Currently broad access to portions of 16 supercomputing systems, representing over 330 petaflops, 775,000 CPU cores, and 34,000 GPUs are being provided.
